Make sense of the figures on the home page, pick the period, and know which conversation to start your day with.

The Dashboard is the home page of ScanBiz. It answers two questions: what happened over the period, and what should I start with.

Steps

  1. At the top of the page, pick the period: Today, 7 days, 1 month, All time, or Exact dates to enter a From and a To. Every figure on the page follows that choice.
  2. Read the row of figures. Depending on what is connected to your account, you will find Incoming calls, Outgoing calls, Missed calls not returned, Meetings, Open alerts and Alerts over the period.
  3. Under each figure, the vs … over the previous period line compares with the period just before, of the same length: it is the change that matters, not the figure on its own.
  4. Scroll down to To handle first: these are the conversations waiting for an action from you, most urgent first. Each line quotes the customer's sentence that raised the alert.
  5. On a line, Listen to the call or Read the email opens the conversation; Mark as handled takes it off the list once you have dealt with it.
  6. Further down, two tables give the trend: how the number of calls and emails changes over time, and What your customers talk about — your topics, from the most frequent to the least, with their change.

If something goes wrong

  • "No conversation is waiting for an action over this period": nothing is addressed to you, or your period is too short. Switch to 1 month for a wider view.
  • "No data for this period" in the tables: no conversation was analysed over the period you picked. If that is unexpected, check your credits — see Follow your credits and your billing.
  • "Your data can't be read right now": click Retry. If the message comes back, report it with the ? button at the bottom of the screen.

Good to know

  • Missed calls not returned counts incoming calls nobody answered and for which no conversation was recorded with that number within 24 hours. The same number is counted only once over the period.
  • If your account has groups, a filter lets you show one group only: the figures and the list to handle are recomputed on that group alone.
  • For detailed analysis over time, use Trends in the menu; the dashboard is made to be read in thirty seconds.
