Two buttons answer "this is not working the way I think": the help button, at the top of the screen, and the assistant, at the bottom right. The first opens a ticket with us and tells you where it stands; the second answers straight away, on your own data.
Report a problem
- Click the help button in the top bar. If it offers two actions, pick the orange triangle, Report a problem (the ? opens the help page of the screen you are on).
- Describe it: "What did you expect, and what did you see instead? On which record?" — that is the field's own question, and it is exactly what saves us a round trip.
- Attach a screenshot: Add an image, or Ctrl+V to paste, or drop the file in the frame.
- Send the report. A message confirms: "your report is registered under reference #…". Write that number down: it is what we will ask for if you contact us about it again.
Follow your reports
Open the help button again, My reports tab: your reports newest first, with where each one stands — To be handled by ScanBiz, On hold, Resolved, Closed.
- A dot on the help button means one of your reports has news (a reply, a change of status).
- Reply or Add a detail carries on the conversation on the same report.
- It's not resolved reopens a report we had marked resolved: write what is still not working.
- Withdraw my report asks us to stop handling it.
Ask the assistant
The ScanBiz assistant reads your data: it answers about your conversations, your figures and your settings.
- Open the assistant, at the bottom right of the screen.
- Type your question in Ask your question… — in plain words, the way you would ask a colleague.
- New conversation starts afresh when you change subject; the previous ones stay in the list.
- If the assistant offers to change a setting, it shows Change to confirm: nothing is applied until you click Approve (or Decline).
If something goes wrong
- "Your session is no longer valid": log out, log back in, then send your report again.
- "Our ticketing tool refused the report" or "Problem reporting is not available on this server": write to support@audioliz.com describing the problem, with your screenshots.
- You cannot see the orange triangle: your account is not allowed to report. That right cannot be set from your organisation — write to us at support@audioliz.com and we will open it.
- You cannot see a "?" on a screen: that screen has no help page yet. Every page there is sits in the help centre.
Good to know
- A good report holds three things: what you expected, what you saw, and a screenshot. The screen you send it from comes with it — no need to describe it.
- The assistant answers on your data and opens no ticket: a problem with the platform goes through Report a problem, not through it.
