Manage your customers' accounts

The ScanBiz partner console: create a customer account, adjust its extensions, open its portal, and the difference between suspending and cutting off the capture.

If you resell ScanBiz, My customers is your console: the ScanBiz accounts you manage for your customers, what they use, and the few things your customer cannot do itself. Everything else — telephony, users, alerts — is set in its portal, by them.

Read the table

One line per customer: Extensions, Credits left, This month, Last call, Channel (3CX, Yeastar, Microsoft 365, Gmail, Uploaded recordings, or Not connected) and Status (Active or Suspended).

The two columns to read together are Channel and Last call: a customer shown as Connected whose last call is days old is sending nothing any more — that is where to look, before they notice it themselves.

Create a customer

  1. New customer.
  2. Company name and Business sector.
  3. Number of extensions: the extensions whose calls are analysed. The credit envelope follows from it — it is the only figure that drives it.
  4. E-mails of the users to invite, one per line. They receive an invitation as soon as the account is created. This is the only moment when accounts can be opened from the console: to add one later, write to us at support@audioliz.com.
  5. Create the customer. Rates and credits are set by ScanBiz: there is nothing to fill in about them.

What you can do on a customer

Open the customer's line, Actions block:

  • Change the number of extensions: the credit envelope follows.
  • Open this customer's portal: you step into its ScanBiz, as they see it.
  • Suspend: nobody there can sign in any more. ⚠️ Its conversations keep arriving, keep being analysed and keep being billed.
  • Cut off capture: its phone system and mailboxes stop sending anything — nothing more is analysed or billed. What is already there stays readable.

That distinction is the expensive one: suspending locks the door, cutting off the capture stops the meter. To stop billing a customer, use Cut off capture. And once it is cut off, only your customer can reconnect, from its portal.

If something goes wrong

  • "The address … already belongs to a ScanBiz account": an address can belong to one account only. Replace it to create the customer.
  • "Daily creation limit reached": try again tomorrow.
  • "This customer disabled the partner account": they took away your access to their portal. Ask them to enable it again.
  • "This customer's credit envelope was set by hand by ScanBiz": its extensions are not adjusted here. Contact your ScanBiz representative.
  • "Nothing was capturing on this customer" after Cut off capture: no channel was connected — nothing was coming in already.
